So excited about this partnership! The swapping will be awesome, but the community is the best part.
How it works:
Pre-event: Gather the clothes you're no longer loving (make sure they're clean & in good condition) For the best swapping experience, please seperate items in top condition from everything else, with tees and knits in their own bag(s).
3:30: Drop your clothes to swap then spend some time talking sustainable & ethical style and catching up with friends, new & old
4:30-5:30: SWAP TIME! All of the contributed clothes will be sorted by size & hung up for easy viewing
Post swap plan to have a tea & continue the conversation in the cozy community space of SHAKTIBARRE, or join in their Sunday evening soundscape.
Though this is a *free* swap, we're raising money for the inspiring (and necessary) mission of NYC Mammas Give Back. We invite you to contribute $20 (or more) to their cause via cash or Venmo. <3
Items left for the swap that are not claimed may be listed for sale. IF SO, 50% of the purchase price of the item will be donated to NYC Mammas Give Back.
